Hello, My name’s Freddie I'm a 26 year old disabled transgender man based in Sheffield. I have a diagnosis of gender dysphoria and I've been on testosterone hormone replacement therapy since 4/3/21, which I've managed to fund privately through years of saving. I'm starting this fundraiser to help contribute to my top surgery. I work alongside my studies and every spare penny I earn is going to my top surgery fund but it's not filling up very quickly due to paying for course fees, additional costs in relation to my course and everyday living costs!
My dysphoria is getting worse day to day and I'm struggling to leave the house. Work requires me to wear my compression chest binder for long periods of time which is taking its toll on my body. I'm desperate to be comfortable in my own skin and get on with living my life.
I've been quoted £8069 for the surgery (double incision mastectomy) which will be taking place on the 22nd March 2022. I would be grateful for any donations, however big or small, to take the edge off and help me reach my goal both financially and to alleviate my dysphoria in order to help me feel comfortable within my own skin.
