A Proper Farewell

On May 10, 2017 My oldest daughter Evelyn once again encountered one of life's great trials and tribulations. The death of a loved one. Evey is now struggling to cope with the loss of her biological father, Jim Spain (James Cavanaugh). Though his time in her early years was sporadic, over the last few years Evelyn had become much closer with Jim, connecting over video games and talking comics, she always came home from Washington with a bounce in her step, excited to tell me of her adventures with him and her family on the west coast. Now, she must say farewell at such a sensitive age, right as she's about to start middle school. Unfortunately, the funds for such an emergency are not in my pocket. I'm pleading to you guys to help with our flight costs for Evelyn, Oswin, and myself, transportation to and from San Juan Island, and accommodations. Any extra cash will go towards assisting Evelyn and his two other children, Jesse and Mackenzie, that were left behind with grief counseling, food, and other basic needs. Thank you all once again for coming to Evelyn's aide and thank you to anybody new to her life willing to help us through this difficult time.
