A new kidney for 12 year old Iman

We seeking help for our 12 year old nephew Iman. Iman is a smart, kind boy who works hard at school. The oldest of four children, he is a great big brother and role model.
Iman’s story
In 2019, Iman became very weak, with high blood pressure, persistent headaches and swollen face and feet. He was finally diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and stayed in the hospital for 15 weeks undergoing 20+ sessions of dialysis. He is now home but must return to hospital for three sessions of dialysis per week.

The costs of a transplant
Doctors have diagnosed Iman as suffering from End Stage Renal Disease. He now needs a kidney transplant which will cost about £16,000. This includes:
Surgery fee; Anaesthesia fee; Theatre fee; Medication fee; Immuno suppressive drugs; Bed fee; Intensive care unit charges
We are very hopeful that a member of Iman’s family will be suitable as an organ donor. The costs of Iman's dialysis and ongoing hospital care have already reached £3000, supported by efforts of his family members. All money raised will go directly to the cost of his kidney transplant, medical bills and other costs relating to Iman’s condition.
Our wish for Iman
We last saw Iman on a family visit in August 2019 to Abuja, the capital of Nigeria where his family lives. It was a happy moment to see Iman and his brothers and sisters playing together with their cousins (including our two children). Our wish and hope for this brave bright boy is to undergo this kidney transplant and be able to return to the life of a normal 12 year old boy – to go to school, to play with his family and friends, and to achieve his full potential in life.
