A New Bike for Liam

Donation protected
On Sunday 19th January 2020 one of our young Birmingham Says No advocates was dragged off his bike into an alleyway and robbed at gunpoint. He was kicked and punched and had his head stamped on for no reason at all. They stole his bike and left him badly injured in a heap on the alleyway.
Liam who is only 15 years old, is one of the most amazing young people I have EVER spoken too, a sweet, gentle boy who wouldn't hurt a fly. From the very beginning of Birmingham Says No this beautiful young man has been an avid follower and has shown dedicated support by following every event, sharing every post, he even designed a sports top with Birmingham Says No on the back to show his support and encourage his friends and other young people in the area to follow the movement. He held a stall at a local fete to tell people about the dangers of knife crime and has promoted the positive message 'Bikes up knives down' throughout his area.
Liam is a devoted bike rider and had worked tirelessly helping his dad window cleaning and doing odd jobs around the house to save up enough money to fix up his beloved bike only to have it stolen from him in the most violent of manners.
I am absolutely broken hearted I have spoken to Liam and he is so scared now, he doesn't even want to leave his house with the safety of his mum and dad.
My own son encountered being robbed at knifepoint of his mobile phone in February by a gang of thugs and is still suffering the long lasting damage that this type of attack causes
My beautiful Birmingham Says No family, I am pleading for your help to try and replace Liam's bike for him, to show him that the world is not all bad and that people out there do care. I know the target is a big one, but his bike is a professional riding bike,  a Lapierre and I would desperately love to be able to help him buy a new bike in the hope that it will encourage him back outside.
Please please consider donating even just £1 it all adds up, let's make this count and help this young boy that is out there trying to help us.
Thank you all for reading xxx ❤
