I am Harrison Guy and I am embarking on a large-scale mural project that will honor Houston's Black LGBTQ community. I have secured permission for the building and selected Black queer artist Lovie Olivia to complete the project. Your donations will help to purchase supplies and compensate the artist.
By covering the currently vacant property in 3rd Ward with a mural, this project will transform the busy and high-traffic streetscape, enhance the pedestrian experience, promote visibility for Black LGBTQ Houstonians, and brighten the neighborhood with color.
This mural will remind us that yes, Black Lives Matter and this must include All Black Lives.
