A Mother's Journey of Determination: Driving with her husband while fighting ALS to See Son in North Carolina.

Tammy Michaels has been bravely battling ALS since 2019-10-18. Four years ago, with your generous support, we were able to make her and her husband David's dream of traveling to North Carolina to witness their son's graduation from boot camp and MOS school for the Marine Corps a reality.

However, that trip marked the last road trip Tammy and David have been able to take outside of Maine. Now, time has become precious, measured not in seconds or minutes, but in fleeting moments.

With heavy hearts, we share that Tammy and David have not seen their son in a year. Recently, he married his beautiful bride, and they long to meet their new family and spend time with their son and his wife. The family is filled with hope that Tammy and David can make one more drive down to witness their daughter-in-law's graduation on May 11th, as she earns her bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
