My name is Alexandra Lopez. I am raising a gofundme for my sister Edith Lopez. March 27th, 2024 she got a knock at the door that revealed a mother’s worst fear. My niece Lupita Rivera-Lopez was murdered the night of March 26th, 2024. Her life was taken from her. A senseless act of violence took our star from us. A coward took a beautiful soul from this world. He took a daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and an amazing friend to many from all of us. Anyone that knew Lupita knew what a beautiful person she was inside and out. Lupita was such a strong and courageous young woman. She was only 25 years old with dreams of becoming a singer and dancer. In her short time on this earth she endured many trials and tribulations, but still managed to overcome them. She loved life and went through it with a beautiful smile on her face. Always trying to be a better person. She loved to make people laugh and lift their spirits. All she ever wanted was to accomplish her dreams and for her family to be proud of her.
Our family's bright and shining star was taken from us by a ruthless individual.
My sister Edith only had one daughter and now she is gone forever. She is so very devastated. Her beautiful little girl was taken from her. She will no longer get those warm hugs, nor hear her singing throughout the house. She will no longer see her smile and only memories will remain.
Please help my sister with all the funeral expenses that unexpectedly have accrued. My niece was taken way too soon and never truly knew how much she was loved and how much she will be missed.
