A Mother’s Brave Fight Against Cancer

Dear friends, family and community members,

We are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. Sarah, a beautiful wife, extraordinary mother, amazing daughter, sister, friend, and neighbor is continuing, her brave battle against stage 4 metastatic melanoma. Her journey has been filled with incredible amounts of determination and strength, but Sarah now faces a critical moment in her fight that requires our collective support.

Sarah has been battling this aggressive form of cancer since its return in October 2022. She has undergone a countless number of intensive treatments that include multiple types of radiation, chemotherapy and immunotherapies that have all taken its toll on her physically and mentally. Despite it all, she has remained positive and strong for her young children, family and friends. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her, Kevin and their two children.

Sarah recently mustered the strength to go on a family vacation, to spend some much-needed time away from doctors and be with her family. While away, Sarah developed a blood infection from her previous round of chemotherapy and is now hospitalized hundreds of miles away from home in South Carolina. Her doctors are doing everything they can to help her gain enough strength to be transported home, but the cost of the transport is the patient’s responsibility. Sarah and her family are now faced with an immense financial burden, and once Sarah is able to return home… her fight and the cost of treatments will only continue.

As a community, we have the opportunity to come together and provide vital support during this time of great need. Our donations can make a tangible difference in Sarah’s life and give her a chance to be there for her loving children, devoted husband and loyal family.
