Biliary Atresia Vs A Mother Trying to Make a Way

Hi everyone,

My  family is currently going through a tough time right now. Recently I had my third daughter Takyra who I’d  been off work for to take care of during my leave from work. I was hired expecting and had only been employed four months before I left to deliver. Considering this short time frame I’m not eligible for the medical benefits or FMLA which would aid in my leave to maintain a financial balance. Due to these circumstances my funds have been exhausted And now to make matters worse I’ve just found out my daughter liver is failing . I was only back to work one week when I got the news . I’m now gone again on a non-paid leave . I’m terrified of what can be the end result of this situation as I could loose my job and home not being able afford it now. My daughter lays here in the hospital with a possible diagnosis of biliary atresia which means her liver was never properly developed and is collecting full of bile which can be fatal. I can’t return to work with my child in this state and I’m afraid to end up homeless. I’ve gotten behind on things and I’m in need of your support . Anything would help at this point .
