A Mission for our Michelle Miller

Hi, my name is Missy.  My friend Michelle (Shelli Foust to some of us) has been a part of my life for over 40 years. She was my maid of honor! She's a loving caring wife, mother, oma, daughter, sister, and friend to so many.  She's an easy going, free-spirited animal lover.  She's loyal, compassionate, and always happy and smiling.  Despite all this, she has been stricken with an uncaring disease, in the form of Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to her liver.

I have been feeling helpless since she told me on January 2nd......UNTIL NOW. With your help, I'd like to offer her the freedom from the daily financial obligations that are consuming her thoughts.  She hasn't been able to work and her husband and daughter have taken time away from their jobs as they all try to process this unthinkable diagnosis.

It would be awesome if, together, we could set a goal and meet is so she can have the peace of mind that it can bring.  In addition to the monthly expenses, she's accumulating some medical bills as well.  To free her mind of that burden would be the ultimate gift for my dear, deserving friend and her grateful family.

Please help me stand strong in number to support her through this heartbreaking time.  Any contribution you can make to help reach our goal would be greatly appreciated for a lifetime.  If you could share her story with a few friends, that would be a huge help.

I wasn't comfortable sharing this news, but her daughter Meagan has posted the following...

On December 30th, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. 3 days ago, the Dr told that there is too much damage already done and she only has weeks left. Sitting here writing this is so crazy to me right now. I still feel like this is all a bad dream that I can’t wake up from. Please help if you can. My dad’s world is getting flipped upside down right now and anything will help.
