A Miracle for Omarius

Omarius Moore is an 11 year old smart, funny, multitalented and athletic young man. He is the son of Marino Moore and Rachel Armstrong, and also the grandson of Marcy Dudley. On December 3, 2016 Omarius was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Oxford, MS due to sudden weakness and the inability to move his upper and lower extremities. From Oxford, he was transported to LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN where he is now in ICU. Omarius is suffering from an extremely rare virus where the immune system attacks part of the nervous system and has caused him to be in a state of paralysis. He is only showing very small amounts of movement and has to remain in bed. He is currently on a ventilator to assist with his breathing and a feeding tube for nutrition. He is required to have around the clock care and has family at his bedside. The team at LeBonheur are working effortlessly to strengthen his condition. He is receiving steroids, physical therapy and other forms of treatment to help him regain movement and control of his body. Although in this state, Omarius is alert and aware of everything that is going on around him. Due to this unexpected situation, his caregivers have taken off work without pay to be at his bedside. The family is asking for ALL prayers and any donations that can help assist with any outstanding medical expenses to help aide in his recovery, as well as to help his caregivers with their needs. Although the doctor's reports are not good, our GOD is and we are prayerful that he will make a full recovery. The process is going to be very intense and long; however, Omarius is strong and determined to get better. Thank you all in advance for your prayers and support.
