A lift for Ray's Wheelchair
Donation protected
Meet Ray.
Ray was paralyzed in a freak accident 16 years ago and since then has spent his life in a chair.
Ray is a happy-go-lucky guy who lives as full a life as possible and never complains about his situation, he has a loving, supportive wife and pretty much everything he needs.
Paralysis hasn't stopped Ray from socialising and he likes to hang out with his many friends from time to time for a beer down at the local.
The only thing that seperates Ray from the rest of us is the inability to raise up his chair when chatting to friends. While his chair has been provided by Social Security they have informed him that a hydraulic accessory to raise it up 14 inches is deemed 'unnecessary'
To gain the ability to raise himself up Ray must pay for the hydraulic accessory himself at a cost of $2,000. This he would gladly do but, for obvious reasons, a couple of thousand dollars is a big chunk of change for a guy who is unable to work.
So, while a small donation might not seem like much to most people, to Ray it could well be life transforming! Let's band together and give Ray the 14 inch lift that will make his life just that little bit more normal!
