A killer uterus
Donation protected
Hello! I am a 26 year old student unfortunately who has undergone years of issues with my uterus. I have been on every single kind of birth control to manage it, and failed off of pills, the nexplanon caused me to have a period for like a year straight and now I'm on a combination of pill and IUD. However even on the combination I have had 8 periods in 3 months and am severely anemic.
After dozens of tests they think I have endometriosis. The only permanent solution of endometriosis is a hysterectomy. Though due to issues with the American healthcare system because I'm 26 without children they think I'm "too young" to make that decision.
Instead, I have to have multiple smaller surgeries to laser away the bad tissue... Which is not covered by insurance.
At this point, I am not able to easily function due to the pain and the impact on my life and need to undergo at least one of the procedures. Whatever anyone can help is greatly appreciated!
