A Kidney for Miko!

Every single one of us has met one.  The person who grabs your heart with their electric energy and inspiring spirit.  A person that glows love and beams kindness.  

Miko is one of them. 

At the age of 6, Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) an autoinflammatory disease had begun its vicious attack on Meir Israel "Miko" Ganon.  This disease usually occurs in people of Mediterranean origin—including Sephardic Jews and Mizrahi Jews.   Meir, a sabra, born and raised in Israel, was an unsuspecting victim.   By 28, both his kidneys were non-functioning, just one side effect of this very painful disease.  

Unfortunately, in the last 10 months, Miko's condition has deteriorated.   Luckily Miko has found a match!  His opportunity to continue his life and to become a father for the first time with his dedicated wife Lilach has arrived.  Despite community and family support, funds are still needed to make this a reality.   

We need help to get him back to being himself, to return him to us, to his wife, his family, and his friends!
