Henry’s Diagnosis – 2009
As you may or may not know in 2009, Henry was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and was placed on the Kidney Transplant List in 2016 through Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC).
We have been waiting for a new kidney for just under five years. A live donor is best, but a healthy cadaver will also do. Whichever comes first.
Many family and friends have been tested, but none have prevailed. Hennepin Healthcare will not accept a kidney if it endangers the donor’s health in any way.

The Start of Dialysis - July, 2020
Henry started Dialysis on July 15, 2020. He has now lost over 20 pounds and is still waiting for a new kidney. Dialysis is no joke!
When dialysis began, Henry was no longer able to work because of policies on his job, which stated that, “anyone on dialysis is not fit for work”.
Henry has worked as a Transit Bus Driver for over thirty years, but since he is unable to work we have created a GoFundMe account for anyone who may wish to donate towards financial support.
Donor Information
Ultimately, we are praying that a donor becomes available.

This is all new territory for us and we are in the Lord’s hand, because He knows our past, present and future. It has been a long time, 11 years plus and we continue to pray and wait.
