A Kidney Campaign

Dear Friends,

 

Some of you know Kelly Hartog, some of you don't, but if you did she would steal your heart. Kelly is a true friend, someone who looks at the world selflessly and with an eye on the truth and how to be of service. Somehow, she manages to continue to bring her open heart, mind , spirit, to her life, work, friends, and dog Bronte, even while waiting for a life saving kidney transplant. She even manages to continue to write award winning journalistic pieces, and to pursue a dream of a Jewish online news site (www.socaljewishnews.com) with the highest of journalistic standards.

 

Her  bills have become unmanageable after an eight day stint in critical care in hospital. Nonetheless, she continues to work  tirelessly, when what she should be doing is resting.

Can we each give what we can to support five months of rent for Kelly? If 200 of us give $50, Kelly will have the chance to breathe a bit easier while awaiting news of a match for a new kidney, and we will all have supported a person whose life makes this world a much better place.
