A Home for Icelynn and Greg

Hello again, friends. I am raising money and serving as the administrator of this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of my dear friend, Greg Hansen, whom many of you know, in an attempt to reunite Greg with Icelynn, a previously traumatized dog that Greg adopted some time ago. The progress Greg has made with Icelynn is nothing short of miraculous, but due to contentious and difficult circumstances involving the management of the hellscape where he lives, Greg was forced to either surrender Icelynn, an emotional support animal, back to the shelter where he had originally adopted her, or be evicted. Although Greg made every effort to work with the powers that be where he lives and ensure that Icelynn was contained and leashed at all times, he was not successful. 

This has been absolutely heart-wrenching for Greg and so traumatic for Icelynn--a dog that had been severely abused during her brief three years of life before her adoption. She had finally begun to feel secure with Greg and was adored, pampered, and very much loved for the first time in her short life. Fortunately, the shelter is holding her indefinitely in hopes that Greg can find suitable housing soon, but the housing market is very challenging in Warrenton, where he lives. For these reasons, I am raising money for a deposit on a small house, an apartment, or to perhaps buy a used mobile home as soon as possible so that he and Icelynn can be reunited before the emotional damage to this poor, unnecessarily confused dog becomes permanent. It almost goes without saying that Greg’s finances are limited: his job hours have been cut drastically and he is reliant on SSI.
