On March 18, 2018 our Dad, Michael Lanctot, suffered a traumatic brain injury when he fell from a roof. He suffered severe head trauma as well as multiple broken bones. He has made great progress over the last two months and the focus now is on Neuro Rehab and Physical Therapy.
He was at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland, FL for four weeks and is currently at an acute rehab center in Land-O-Lakes, Florida. Ever since the accident, our Mother, Carol has been traveling back and forth to visit him each day. She has also been staying in hotels these last few weeks as he is currently two hours away from their home in Winter Haven.
His next venture will be to a Neuro Rehab Center. He may be placed in a facility as far away as four hours from Winter Haven. Once again, Carol will be researching a new area to find housing so she can stay close by to help provide him with daily care. All donations will be used for travel expenses and housing costs. We are very appreciative for those who have reached out and offered monetary donations thus far, as well as prayers. Our hope is to ease the financial burden, so Carol can focus on providing care and helping to heal.
