A helping hand for the handyman , Dave

We could really use your help! I'm doing this for my significant other David, who recently had all of his work tools stolen from his work truck by a deplorable human being. He is now unable to do even the basics without having to replace thousands of dollars worth of tools. David is an extremely hard worker who never misses a day, except when there is an family emergency. Its very disheartening, because we have taken so many blows financially this year. We have put everything on the back burner to try to get back on track and purchase a nice home for us to live in.  We have family that have supported us in our need for a place to stayand we didnt want to burden them for much longer but, again this blow has hit us hard. Any help would get us back on track and give David the support he needs to be able to do his job effectively and efficiently.  Please help us. update: his boss was willing to pay for essential tools out of pocket, which was a total of three power tools. This is no where near what he had or needs to do his job properly tho. unfortunately, after inquiring about the insurance, they will not compensate them for David stolen tools.
