A helping hand for Sam & her boys

Sam is a beautiful woman with the strength of a warrior who has been battling stage 4 cancer for the past 12 months. She's a single parent with two young boys aged just 12 & 9 years old.

Sam has lived in the NT for more than half her life completing her schooling in Darwin. She served her community as a NT Police Officer for over 16 years before resigning last year just weeks before her cancer diagnosis.

Sam has faced so many challenges this past 12 months with her young boys by her side. Her family live interstate & Sam chose to stay in Darwin for her boys & get her chemotherapy treatment here. She has battled on & done an amazing job, always with a smile on her face, she's never complained & her strength has been inspirational & nothing short of incredible.

Sam had a major operation last June to remove her larger tumors and has been undergoing chemotherapy for the past 12 months. Whilst receiving chemo she had to return to work for financial reasons, she's juggled being a Mum & a cancer patient all whilst working & she thought she was winning the battle until recently when she has become quite ill again.

Unfortunately Sam's cancer has spread & it's progressing at a rapid rate.
She needs to go back onto very harsh chemotherapy & needs her family around her to support her with her two boys. Sam needs to go interstate to do this & this means she will be off work & have no means of financial income. 

This fundraiser is for Sam to travel interstate with her young boys & be with her family in this very challenging time. Sam will be without income for at least the next 6 months & the money raised will assist Sam & her boys to live the life they need whilst she is undergoing her treatment to beat this cancer. 

If you have ever been blessed to meet Sam, either as a Police Officer, a colleague or a friend you know she is kind, caring, compassionate & she would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She is a beautiful woman & a loving soul who doesn't deserve the hand she has been dealt over the past year. 

Sam needs our help now & I'm asking you all to please donate to help get Sam & her boys interstate, help her get through the next 6 months of treatment & assist her with the financial burden she currently facing.

No amount is too small. I know times are tough for alot of people at the moment but if you could give anything it would mean the world to Sam & her boys.
