A Heart for Hadlee

Hadlee was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She has undergone numerous high risk surgeries since birth. At the sweet age of two, Hadlee needs a heart transplant. She will be expected to stay at Children’s Hospital until she receives a heart. This could be months. Post transplant she will stay three weeks, provided everything goes well. Hadlee and her parents are required to live within nine miles of Children’s for three months after her transplant. They do not qualify for Ronald McDonald House, because they live too close to Children's. But they unfortunately do not live close enough to stay in their own home. This means they will have to pay out of pocket for a hotel. You could imagine the burden this will cause, especially since Hadlee has two other siblings. Help her family adjust to this trying time.
