A headstone for Sabastian Kamp

Donation protected
Thank you for your contributions and your loving support.   I have turned off the donations option for this campaign.  Our goals have been financially met, actually expectations exceeded..which is awesome..  in less than a week the GoFundMe for sabastian's marker was shared 144 times and viewed 1338 times.   With electronic and cash donations we were gifted with nearly $1800.00.  Thank you Thank you Thank you... There is a local company who offered to come to Ball Hill, reset the toppled stones and remove all of the paint professionally at not cost.  As you might expect  That is the company my family plans to utilize to acquire the marker for Sabastian.

This little guy  brought ..created .. not only a family, or a community together, he literally brought a nation together as one.  From Baltimore MD to Seattle Washington. From Texas to Indiana.   Again allow me to say Thank you on Behalf of the entire Gangwer family.  You are loved, and we feel yours as well...

This has been a tremendously successful go fund me campaign.  We have created together over $1500.00 electronically  and several hundred collected in cash as well.  The Gangwer family would like to say thank you for your generosity in the spirit of love and also your contribution for his precious child to be recognized in our world.

I think you can expect a teddy bear of some sort to be included in the design of his new marker.

My brother Dan and his immediate family appreciate all of you support both when Sabastian passed and again throughout this past week, 8 years later.  This little guy brought a community together from across the country.  The donations are quite literally from sea to shining sea...from North to South, East to West.

I will be closing out this campaign at 10 am Monday morning October 1, 2018..

Thank you
Sondra

Sabastian Wayne Kamp was born March 31, 2010  and passed  without out taking a single breath.   Had he lived he would be 8 years old now. But he did not
This week his grave stone was defaced and also smashed by vandals at the Ball Hill Cemetery near Cutler Indiana .   The family gathered realizing that the shattered pieces were like a puzzle and gently lovingly put back together again.   Sabastian's stone is beyond repair and must be replaced.
His original was a beautiful concrete bench covered with little boy toys and frequent flowers from his mom and siblings.
I did the math and it seems that an actual headstone for Sabastian to replace the destroyed one begins at around $700.00 and goes up from there.   If we raise more than the price of a simple stone we will get him one that is a bit more fancy..

The link below is the Fox News . Our family had 4 generations of stone  effected.  The paint has been removed  the other are fine now...

So please join us in creating a fund for a marker for a little boy who brought a community together .  His stone spoke volumes in pieces on the ground covered with blue spray paint.

I am his mom Monica's Aunt Sondra.  ALL proceeds will go for this cause.

The intention is to run this campaign for about a week and consider that our budget for Sabastian's new marker.
