There are many amazing qualities I love about my cousin Alex. She has plenty of spunk and sass. She is amazing and gentle with kids and yet holds her own probably because of her seven brothers. But one quality I am particularly fond is her beautiful hair. Alex’s hair is an extension of her personality, and everyone knows I am a sucker for blonde hair. So when I heard she would be sporting a new look with her upcoming chemo treatment, I wondered what could be done. Cancer treatment takes a lot from people and there isn’t much that can be done about it. However, with the help of all the amazing people that love Alex as much as I do, we can do something about the situation of her looking like an egghead. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure she will be just as stunning with a bald head as she does with her golden locks but a girl deserves to feel pretty and confident no matter the circumstances. There are options that have been discussed. Some include using her own hair to make a wig or to get a classy French Renaissance wig (you know those big white poofy ones) either way it’s gonna cost some money. So let’s all chip in so there is one less thing for her to worry about as she goes beast mode on this cancer for the next several months.
