A Hand Up for the Blairs

Twelve years ago, Carl had a kidney transplant donated by none other than his loving wife, Betty. Two years ago he started dialysis as the kidney started to fail. At the time, he was working as a teacher’s aid at North Okanagan Academy. He had to give it up because his health took  priority. Even so, he continued to come in as a volunteer as he was able. The matter became more urgent and finally on September 29, our prayers were answered and he was blessed with a new kidney. Carl and Betty had to go to Vancouver for this surgery and Betty couldn’t work for three weeks. It was a successful transplant but Carl has to stay in Vancouver to recuperate. He will be staying at the Jean Barber Lodge. The disruption to their lives and being unable to work has created a need for funds to meet the mounting bills with. This fund is being created to raise funds to help Carl & Betty through the challenging time ahead. Thank you in advance for your help.
