Christmas is coming to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and coming with it is love, miracles, and the return of Bo Brinkman.

Bo is no stranger to Gettysburg or filmmaking. An established Texas filmmaker, born in Pasadena and currently based in Nassau Bay, Bo has held the lead and supporting roles in television and film, including the 1993 film Gettysburg and its prequel, Gods and Generals. Bo has written, produced, and directed several films, often drawing his characters and storylines from his ensemble of intricate, comical, and emotional family tales. The Last Mark, The Bay House, and Last Man Club are among his collection, with the latter winning Best of Show (WorldFest Houston), Best Picture (Real to Reel Film and Video Festival), Best Film (Life Fest Film Festival), Best Narrative Feature (Garden State Film Festival), and Best Dramatic Feature (Burbank International Film Festival). Now, thirty years after the release of Gettysburg, Bo has return to the same town for his next film, A Gettysburg Christmas, and we are looking for your assistance in spreading the word about this production.

Our Plan:
This film scheduled for production, with name talent to create commercial appeal attached, and a comprehensive distribution model is in place. Our goal is that this film will inspire tourists to venture to Gettysburg for many years after the release during the holiday season.

We need your help to make that become a reality. Your assistance will allow us to bring this film to the attention of a wider audience, and meet our ultimate goal of sharing this story with as many families as possible.

Film Synopsis:
Hope Kelly is still struggling with heartache several years after her abrupt, life-changing decision to buy an apple farm outside the small town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The loneliness of isolation gradually replaced the peace she initially found on the farm.

Hope's father, Ron, is still upset with her for leaving his law firm, a decision that led to a Christmas Eve blowout that has yet to be reconciled. Hope's ex-fiance had broken their engagement for another woman a few days before that dreadful Christmas Eve. Up until now, Hope has sworn off Christmas and relationships.

Hope's mother, Caroline, her brother, Ryan (Jake Busey), and his quirky girlfriend, Emily, travel to Gettysburg to have Christmas with Hope, despite her objections, to try to mend the relationship between her and her father. Ryan's old Army buddy, Nick, also shows up at the farm and is immediately taken with Hope. But it takes a Christmas miracle, in the form of Charley (Lee Majors), that helps to mend Hope's heart and allows her to trust again, realize the importance of family, and find love.

Based on a novel by Craig Rupp.

We appreciate your interest in A Gettysburg Christmas! We are grateful for all monetary donations, but funds are not the only way you can help build an audience for this production. Please share this link with your followers to help get the word out.
