A Funeral on Christmas Day

As much as all of us love good stories at Christmas, my family's reality this Christmas is a heartbreaking one. We humbly reach out to all of you for help because in the past we have seen your kindness. Please help us if you have it in your heart and are able to. Together we are stronger; together we make a difference.
On Monday December 21st, our dear cousin Florin Dredretan from Romania suddenly passed away from a heart attack. He traveled with his 2 small children (Miriam and Dragos) to Austria to visit his beautiful wife Gabriela who is on a working visa in Austria for some time now. They had planed to celebrate Christmas together. As the family was viewing the city lights and enjoying each other's company, Florin suddenly collapsed and passed away. He was 47. This unthinkable tragedy has left Gabriela scrabbling to find transportation and repatriate Florin back to Romania. She will need all the help she can get to make arrangements for the funeral taking place on Christmas Day. The shock is too great. The pain unimaginable. Little Miriam and Dragos should open presents on Christmas morning not say good by to daddy forever.
Dearest friends, we want to support Gabriela and the children as much as we can financially. This is a difficult and terrible time for her and the children. Only by the grace of God they will be able to navigate life alone in the weeks to come. We know everyone's wallet is thin this year and we are aware of so many needs out there; please prayerfully consider helping out as much or as little as you can. We have seen miracles over and over again. We trust God with this too. No amount is small and insignificant. May you be exponentially blessed and your giving returned ten fold.
