Evacuate Yasser and his family from Gaza

Writing this has been one of the most challenging tasks I have ever undertaken in my life. Finding the right words to convey the unimaginable experiences my family and I have gone through is a daunting endeavor.

Dear donors , My name is Yasser Nedal Abu Elwan, a 24-year-old Palestinian hailing from Gaza. Pouring out my soul in these lines has been an excruciating task, as I strive to encapsulate the harrowing realities my family and I have endured.

Deep in our hearts, like any other family, we have dreams, aspirations and an unquenchable longing for a better life. But the oppressive shadow of the Israeli occupation looms over our hopes, shatters our dreams and renders our aspirations futile in this turbulent year.

Within the confines of our fractured existence, my family consists of six souls: my father, Nidal (56); My mother, Fayza (49); My brothers Abdullah (27), Fares (21), Muhammad (20), and Uday (14).

Our humble home, which was a haven of love and laughter, was mercilessly destroyed by incessant bombing, forcing us to flee again and again, from Khan Yunis to the central Gaza Strip (Al-Maghazi); We took refuge in Al-Maghazi camp, where we took refuge for a moment in the fragile embrace of one of our relatives’ homes. However, even in the midst of this meager respite, the specter of impending doom loomed, as evacuation warnings penetrated the air with chilling regularity until we ended up being displaced once again from the center of the Gaza Strip to the city of Rafah in the far south of the Strip.

Now, in our darkest hour, my family teeters on the brink of oblivion. Stripped of all semblance of security and stability, we cling tightly to the fragile thread of existence. Despite exhausting every imaginable means of escape, our only beacon of hope is to travel outside the Gaza Strip, having lost everything we had before the war.

For us, survival has become a high-risk gamble, as the Egyptian authorities are asking for $5,000 per person to reach safety via Hala Travel, for a total of $35,000.

If you would like to help me get my family out of Gaza, I would really appreciate it.

It is inconvenient for me to do that but we have no other options! I can't let my family die..!

لقد كانت كتابة هذا أحد أصعب المهام التي قمت بها في حياتي. إن العثور على الكلمات المناسبة لنقل التجارب التي لا يمكن تصورها والتي مررت بها أنا وعائلتي هو مسعى شاق.

أعزائي المتبرعين، اسمي ياسر نضال أبو علوان، شاب فلسطيني من غزة يبلغ من العمر 24 عامًا. لقد كان سكب روحي في هذه السطور مهمة مؤلمة، وأنا أسعى جاهداً لتلخيص الحقائق المروعة التي تحملتها أنا وعائلتي.

في أعماق قلوبنا، مثل أي عائلة أخرى، لدينا أحلام وتطلعات وشوق لا ينضب لحياة أفضل. لكن ظل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الظالم يخيم على آمالنا، ويحطم أحلامنا، ويجعل تطلعاتنا عقيمة في هذا العام المضطرب.

في حدود وجودنا الممزق، تتكون عائلتي من ستة أرواح: والدي نضال (56)؛ والدتي فايزة (49)؛ إخوتي عبد الله (27)، فارس (21)، محمد (20)، وعدي (14).

بيتنا المتواضع، الذي كان ملاذًا للحب والضحك، تعرض للتدمير بلا رحمة بسبب القصف المتواصل، مما اضطرنا إلى النزوح مرارًا وتكرارًا، من خان يونس إلى وسط قطاع غزة (المغازي)؛ لجأنا إلى مخيم المغازي، حيث لجأنا للحظة إلى الحضن الهش في منزل أحد أقاربنا. ومع ذلك، حتى في خضم هذه فترة الراحة الهزيلة، لاح شبح الهلاك الوشيك في الأفق، حيث اخترقت تحذيرات الإخلاء الهواء بانتظام تقشعر له الأبدان، حتى انتهى بنا الأمر بالتهجير مرة أخرى من وسط قطاع غزة إلى مدينة رفح في أقصى الجنوب. جنوب القطاع.

الآن، في أحلك ساعاتنا، تتأرجح عائلتي على حافة النسيان. وبعد تجريدنا من كل مظاهر الأمن والاستقرار، فإننا نتشبث بقوة بخيط الوجود الهش. وعلى الرغم من استنفاد كل وسائل الهروب التي يمكن تخيلها، إلا أن منارة الأمل الوحيدة لدينا هي السفر خارج قطاع غزة، بعد أن فقدنا كل ما كان لدينا قبل الحرب.

بالنسبة لنا، أصبح البقاء على قيد الحياة مقامرة عالية المخاطر، حيث تطلب السلطات المصرية مبلغ 5000 دولار للشخص الواحد للوصول إلى بر الأمان عبر شركة هلا ترافيل، بإجمالي 35000 دولار.

إذا كنت ترغب في مساعدتي في إخراج عائلتي من غزة، سأكون ممتنًا لذلك حقًا.

من غير المناسب بالنسبة لي أن أفعل ذلك ولكن ليس لدينا خيارات أخرى! لا أستطيع أن أترك عائلتي تموت..!
