A family hit by an unexpected tragedy

Hi, my name is Noelle Pittman. I work at a local daycare in Garner, NC, on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, one of our families was hit with an awful tragedy. Jose was walking out with his wife and two children, when he felt a ripping pain in his stomach. He collapsed on the sidewalk and EMS was called. Jose was rushed to WakeMed, where he was discovered to be completely paralyzed from the waist down. Jose and his wife, Brittanie, have 5 beautiful children together, 2 of which go to our preschool. They are the kindest, most humbling, down to earth family. Their children are one of a kind and we have been blessed to have known them the past few months.
