A Doc Band for Sprout

Born premature, "Sprout"* spent her first two months in the NICU. We began fostering her and her twin sister shortly thereafter. Sprout is healthy and growing well, but, likely due to all of the time on her back in the NICU, she has developed severe plagiocephaly. Unfortunately, Sprout's insurance will not pay for her to get a corretive Doc Band helmet. The Doc Band would help her head grow evenly, and hopefully prevent her from developing future hearing, eyesight, or jaw alignment problems. The optimal time for treatment was between 4 and 6 months, and since Sprout just turned 7 months old, we are hoping to raise funds as soon as possible.
