Fighting with the Thornton-Walkers

The gorgeous Thornton - Walker clan have been doing it tough since Dad Chris was admitted to hospital just days before Christmas. He was admitted on December 22nd to remove two aortic aneurisms. During the surgery a third one was found. In recovery for less than one hour, he was returned to theatre to remove several blood clots in his legs. His strength and will saw him through an induced coma and he was eventually placed in a ward to continue to heal, only to be returned to surgery to locate the source of internal bleeding. Currently Chris remains in a coma, his kidneys have permanently failed and should he survive will require daily dialysis. He has pneumonia and infection and an open stomach incision for future exploratory surgery. He continues to fight his battle.
As with most who are self employed, if Chris doesn’t work, he doesn’t get paid. Your donation will help Karen and their 3 gorgeous children, Joffre, Seb and Mack eliminate the stress of having to worry about rent and bill payments for a short time until Centrelink can help. This beautiful family didn’t celebrate Christmas, choosing to wait until Chris comes home. Your well wishes and prayers would be an incredible support to them. Heartfelt thank you.
