A Car for Jeff Buege
Donation protected
Jeff Buege has a volunteer ministry singing and talking about the love of God in Christ Jesus in Nursing Homes across Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. In the last year he has sung in 900 nursing homes. Many have come to know the Lord and have rededicated their hearts to God.
The Mankato SDA church considers his ministry a part of their church ministry. Last year they helped him purchase a small car that would get good mileage and take him from Nursing home to Nursing home. Last Wednesday he was returning home from singing when a Wasp got between his glasses and face. In the distraction of trying to successfully remove the wasp without getting stung in the eye he clipped the back of a Semi trailer and totaled his car. God was with him and saved his life but he has lost his transportation. He had many small lacerations from the flying glass but is basically unhurt. Jeff has over 900 appointments to sing through the rest of this year.
The Nursing homes are not able to pay him more than just enough to cover his gas expenses. He does this ministry full time. His only income is Workman's Comp from a permanent injury that took place several years ago.
How much would you be willing to give to help him continue his ministry? The sooner we can help him get a car the sooner he can go back to singing and telling of Jesus to our Seniors here in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa.
