A Car for Christopher

In the middle of the night last night, my son Chris’s 2003 VW, which was parked in front of his home, was totaled by a drunk driver. The driver abandoned his own car and ran away. Chris awoke this morning to a wrecked car which would cost more to fix than its book value. Unfortunately, the book value does not reflect the value of the car to the family that owns it. Chris spent a lot of time and money keeping that car in great shape, and now it’s gone due to the careless actions of a stranger. Any help you can give would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks!
