A call to rescue a mother’s love

I am humbly reaching out to everyone for my friend Jenneth’s mom. She is still in the ICU battling an autoimmune disorder called Thrombocytopenia Purpura. Her antibodies that are supposed to attack the infection are now attacking her own body.  The doctors say her condition has a high mortality if not given appropriate intervention. She needs a special procedure called Plasmapheresis to remove bad blood and replace it with healthy blood. Procedure costs 100k php / $2k per session. As per MD, some patients respond to 1-2 sessions, some respond to 12 sessions. It depends on the patient. We are hoping that this procedure will help restore her condition. She already had her first session and so far, she is responding well.
Like all mothers, i have known Tita Merly as a strong and compassionate mother. She is a loving mother of three and I have witnessed how much she has worked hard and sacrificed for her family.
