URGENTE AYUDA A MARIA ANTONIETA A CAMINAR
Mi nombre es María Antonieta Martínez Ovalles, actualmente me encuentro postrada en cama, en total y absoluto reposo ya que el 13 de abril del presente año (2021) por TERCERA VEZ se me volvió a luxar o salir la prótesis de lugar, por lo cual se deterioran rápidamente mis músculos y tendones día a día por falta de movilidad y pudiendo conllevar a perder la movilidad total de pierna, puesto que la prótesis está tocando tejidos y nervios importantes de la pierna. Soy venezolana, de 42 años de edad y estoy residenciada en la Ciudad de Mérida, soy egresada de la Universidad de los Andes ULA Mérida, como Licenciada en Diseño Gráfico.
Nací con una Displasia Congénita de Cadera Derecha, a la edad de un año tuve mi primera intervención médica, donde se realizó la reconstrucción del acetábulo por medio de injertos. Desde entonces, he luchado contra esta condición.
En el año 2013, sentí mucho dolor en la cadera y el Traumatólogo Dr. José Uzcategui (Mérida-Venezuela) me operó y me colocó una Prótesis Total de Cadera y pude seguir caminando, sin embargo el 15 de agosto de 2020 me resbalé y la prótesis se luxó por PRIMERA VEZ (se salió de lugar) y tuve que ser intervenida nuevamente para llevar la prótesis a lugar quedando con cuidados rigurosos, el Dr. Uzcategui pudo ver que la prótesis estaba fallando en funcionalidad. Y el día 4 de Enero de 2021, haciendo unos ejercicios para no perder la movilidad de los músculos, se volvió a salir la prótesis de lugar por SEGUNDA VEZ, generándome mucho dolor y volví a entrar a quirófano, y es allí donde el Dr. Uzcategui confirma que la prótesis se daño totalmente e indicó que debe reemplazarla, sin embargo me llevó la pierna a posición. El 13 de abril de 2021, se vuelve a salir la prótesis de lugar por TERCERA VEZ, dejándome postrada en cama.
Busco y solicito ayuda económica porque lo recursos económicos que tenía se utilizaron en las cirugías anteriores y actualmente estoy en cama sin poder movilizarme, con mucho dolor y con el riesgo de comprometer nervios, músculos, tendones y hasta la movilidad total de la pierna porque la prótesis está fuera del lugar indicado. Tengo toda la información a la mano, informes, presupuestos, placas de RX.
Estoy siendo tratada en la ciudad de Mérida, por el Dr. José Uzcategui del Instituto Clínico Médico Quirúrgico desde hace más de 8 años. Como es bien conocido, los centros de salud se encuentran muy afectada por el Covid-19, conllevando que todo el tratamiento se está haciendo en el sector privado.
La finalidad de esta solicitud es lograr la meta para volver a caminar y recuperar mi movilidad y así continuar trabajando y tener calidad de vida completamente por y para mi familia.

URGENT HELP MARIA ANTONIETA TO WALK
My name is Maria Antonieta Martinez Ovalles, I am currently bedridden, in total and absolute rest since on April 13 of this year (2021) for THIRD TIME I dislocated again or the prosthesis came out of place, for whereby my muscles and tendons deteriorate rapidly every day due to lack of mobility, since the prosthesis is touching important tissues and nerves of the leg. I am Venezuelan, 42 years old and I am resident of the City of Mérida, I am a graduate of the Universidad de los Andes Mérida, with a degree in Graphic Design.
I was born Congenital Right Hip Dysplasia, at the age of one year I had my first medical intervention, where the acetabulum was reconstructed through grafts. Since then, I have battled this condition.
In 2013, I felt a lot of pain in my hip and the Traumatologist Dr José Uzcategui (Mérida-Venezuela) operated on me and placed a Total Hip Prosthesis and I was able to continue walking, however, on August 15, 2020, I slipped and the prosthesis dislocated for the FIRST TIME (it fell out of place) and I had to be operated on again to take the prosthesis to place leaving me with rigorous care, Dr. Uzcategui could see that the prosthesis was failing in function. And on January 4, 2021, doing some exercises so as not to lose the mobility of the muscles, the prosthesis came out of for the SECOND TIME, generating a lot of pain and I went back to the operating room, and it is there that Dr. Uzcategui confirms that the prosthesis was totally damaged and indicated that it should be replaced, however he brought my leg into position. On April 13, 2021 the prosthesis came out of place for the THIRD TIME, leaving me bedridden.
I seek and request financial help because the financial resources I had were used in the previous surgeries and I am currently in bed without being able to mobilize, with a lot of pain and with the risk of compromising nerves, muscles, tendons and even the total mobility of the leg because the prosthesis is out of place. I have all the information at hand, reports, estimates, RX plates.
I am being treated in the city of Mérida, by Dr. José Uzcategui of the Surgical Medical Clinic Institute for more than 8 years. As is well known, health centers are highly affected by Covid-19, meaning that all treatment is being done in the private sector.
The purpose of this application is to achieve the goal to walk again and regain my mobility and thus continue working and have a quality of life completely for and for my family.
