Zakaria Guisse Memorial and Funeral

Hello Everyone,

Zakaria Guisse 30, died 6/7/2021 when he was hit by a drunk driver while attending a car crash on  side of the highway.

was a refugee immigrant from Mauritania, who immigrated here 10 years ago for a better life for him and his family. Zak was a hardworking individual who was the provider for his family and his village back home. Zak was taking care of his mom whom he recently was able to bring to this country after 10 years apart. He was taking care his sister who's been battling cancer for the past year. The family only wish is to be able to send the body back home for proper burial.

With all of the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are trying to raise money for Zak family to help with any costs that will incur and to help wherever needed. As a community, we want to ease any stress on the family caused by outstanding costs of the funeral and what comes afterwards.

It is in these times of loss and sadness when you see people coming together to help one another make it through, to support the people we care for. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide. We also encourage everyone to keep their family in their thoughts and prayers.
