Help Vivienne Beat Neuroblastoma

Our world was turned upside down the morning of 12/18/2017. I took Vivienne into the pediatrician because she had been increasingly fussy over the past week or two and seemed to be crying in pain when I moved her. They sent us directly to the ER for what they thought could be intussusception. When they came out and told us the results of the ultrasound, my heart dropped. "Well, it isn't what we expected, she has a large mass in her abdomen and we are going to need to transfer her to Children's". We have spent the past week and a half at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago doing scans and tests. She has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma and we have completed the first cycle of chemotherapy. We were told the prognosis is good in babies under 18 mo and they respond well to chemotherapy. Her doctor believes she can cure her, It's just how and what it is going to take to get there. I pray she is correct. I just can't believe this is happening to our sweet baby girl, only 6 months old. Please pray for her and our family ❤. This has not only impacted her, and Justin, and I, but her three older siblings at home who don't understand what is going on and why we aren't there. I will try to continue to update as changes are happening, because I know a lot of people love and care about her and want to know how she is doing. Money raised will be used for medical bills and other related expenses such as travel, gas, food, and parking which has already added up quickly travelling back and forth to the city.
