Yesenia Kidney fund

Yesenia Matias is a young Guatemalan mother. Yesenia is helping translate the Bible for her Mam people. She is full of life and wants to do good! But she has kidney failure and has been told she needs a transplant.  She is currently able to function but needs the transplant for her longterm survival.  Without the transplant she will most likely experience kidney failure and die.  The procedure will possibly done in the next few months.  The funds will enable her to pay for the operation and all associated costs for treatment since she has no insurance and no significant financial resources to do so on her own.     

Here is the current plan for insuring that all donations are deposited in Yesenia's personal bank account in Guatemala.  The donations are deposited in my personal checking account here in the U.S.  Then as Yesenia requests  the funds for medicine, doctors, laboratory work, travel to and from appointments I am making deposits into her account via a PayPal service called Xoom.  Any unused funds will be divided proportionally and returned to donors.  I am keeping records of disbursements that have been made and receipts for expenses.  These are all available for any donor to view upon request. 

Expenses include all of the above listed funds for medicine, doctors fees, laboratory work, travel to and from appointments and surgery and hospital costs related to the kidney treatment and transplant.
