A Wrinkle in Time - Phoenix

Campaign Deadline: MONDAY, MARCH 5

The #WrinkleInPHX initiative is a grassroots project aimed at sending 150 Phoenix-area girls and boys (ages 8-17) to a free screening of Disney's "A Wrinkle in Time" on Monday, March 12. 

We want to inspire local youth to dream. We want to empower local youth to become exceptional leaders. We want local youth to see the benefits of serving as a positive light in the darkness.

We have invited various non-profit organizations to invite their members and a single parent/guardian to join us for this exciting community event. Invited organizations include Made In Her Image, New Pathways for Youth, Arizona Technology Council Foundation, Guadalupe Boys & Girls Club and Phoenix Film Foundation. More Valley organizations and schools will be announced soon!

Funds will be used to rent a local theater and promote the event. Any funds raised in excess of our $3,000 goal will be used to enhance the screening experience with purchased "A Wrinkle in Time" merchandise to be given away during the screening.

Phoenix-based donors who contribute $20 (or more) will guarantee their own seat, plus the seat of a child and the child's parent/guardian. We have already received pledges from generous supporters who would like to ensure that families with multiple children have an opportunity to enjoy this screening.

Since "A Wrinkle in Time" premieres on Friday, March 9, we will only hold this campaign for one week, so we can coordinate invitations with our selected non-profit organizations.
