Working, Homeless, and Serious Medical Needs,

Donation protected

Today, I am starting a fundraiser for a couple of reasons. One we are currently homeless. We have been homeless for almost a year. (the reason we're homeless is
because the house we were renting for several years was sold, and we were not
able to find another house before it sold, although we did try).

We have never been evicted from any place we've rented, so this is not the issue, I want to make that clear for anyone who may not be aware.

So when exactly did the house sell? Well it sold right at the same time as our
youngest son who is paralyzed was in the hospital not doing well to put it mildly.

He would go on to be readmitted to the hospital seventeen times this past year.
When he was in the hospital the first time last year it was due to a life-threatening bone infection, that resulted in the emergency removal of both hip bones. The dr, who did this surgery told us if it was not done, it was to the point we would walk into his room and find him "gone". Meaning we would find him dead. The bones that were removed were already decayed and rotting.  This was the result of a failed
muscle flap surgery.

He also developed sepsis due to a UTI and kidney infection. He also went on to
aquire many more complications directly related to SCI (spinal cord injury).

That being said at the time the house we were renting sold, my work hours
increased due to a coworker going on emergency medical leave due to heart '
disease.

My coworker would never come back to work as she died a few weeks later. My
work hours did not decrease even though my employer has been trying to hire a
replacement for her. (my work hours are such so that finding a place for us, has
been basically impossible)

Because we had to be out of the house we were renting, we put most everything we had into storage.  Because we had no other option. We had to be out of the
rental house just as the 2020 Pandemic hit, this resulted in everything basically
being shut down and a lot of things harder.

My work hours did not decrease, but I make just barely over min wage due to the
fact being this is the first paying job, I've really had, as I was a SAHM for years.
I also don't have a degree.

We have now just about used up all of our savings, (we have been fairly good at
saving but right now we're low on savings and what funds we have are rapidly
decreasing, we won't be able to continue to pay for the rooms we are paying for.

Today, our youngest son is in the hospital, and we just received a call that they are planning to send him "home" on IV antibiotics. This has happened before, and we were able to cover it, this time we are not able to cover it. The amount that the
we are required to pay upfront before insurance pays is eight thousand. Then
we are supposed to pay a thousand per week for six to eight weeks. We were able to do this when he was sent "home" like this before, this time we can't because we don't have it.

I don't have time now to go into more detail, but basically we need to cover what
the insurance he has will not cover on that one medicine, plus all of his other
medical needs, and also a new wheelchair.
We also need to be able to cover these rooms at least until we can find housing.

We are working but our income does not stretch far enough to cover everything.
I've only listed part of the medical things we need to cover not everything, and
we are no longer able to cover everything, we've been trying.

If you are able to help at all thank you very, very much,

Everything I've said can be verified, our son is currently in the hospital, but may
be discharged in the next couple of days.

If you are unable to help, please just pray for God's provision.
