"The results couldn't be more surprising. Turns out I have a rare form of liver cancer that the blood test just couldn't catch. The doctors said they don't think a transplant will help, "it'll just grow back." They say 2 patients have only seen good results from chemo. I have to get a PET scan early next week to make sure it's not anywhere else in my body.
They're sending me to NYC to see a national expert surgeon guy to see what he thinks of the whole thing. It looks like I may have to get involved in some clinical trials and hope something works.
I was told most patients at this point have a year. I was also told how surprisingly healthy I was. I'm telling you all there's no time limit on me. I'm telling everyone that I will be that weird case of success.
I've got so much more to do here. So many people to help. So many people to meet.
I'm not going back to school for awhile. I'll be doing art, glass work, seeing friends, volunteering at the animal shelter, etc.
With all of you and your prayers and thoughts I believe I can beat this. With all the support and love you have given me. I've tried my whole life to put good into the universe. Now I hope the universe will see me and see my strength and help me win.
I really love you all. Life is extremely beautiful and I intend to hold onto life for many many years to come."

In Willow's own words posted on Facebook on October 24th, one month after her 18th birthday and one week after her life had suddenly come to a halt with the jolting news that the pain in her stomach of the last 2+ years was actually cancer.     The diagnosis of her rare liver cancer known as hepatocellular carcinoma, fibrolamellar variant in itself is overwhelming, to say nothing of the costs she and her family are facing.    Please support Willow and her family in the fight for Willow's life.   Your donation no matter how small is appreciated.   Help us by getting the word out to others #WillowWarriors and #TeamWillow
