Fire Fund - displaced family NYC
Donation protected
On Monday evening, January 29th, a fire severely damaged the apartment of our building porter and long time neighbor, Julio. He, his wife Leonoro, and their four year old daughter are being displaced for some time and face a great deal of unforeseen expense.
Many know him as not just a part of our building staff, but his living across the street translates to his always being on call for urgent needs off-hours.
More important, we all know Julio as a genuine, caring, considerate man. Any assistance from the community, PARTICULARLY those here at the Glass Farmhouse, would surely help the family at this time.
We set a low budget amount to get this effort started; anything above that will most certainly be appreciated.
For those new to GoFundMe, please note that campaign funds are received directly by the aforementioned beneficiary (not the organizer Mark) upon checkout, as clarified on the payment page. Thank you very much.
