Wes Need's Your Help

Donation protected
Wes Koenig, 52, was on a motorcycle ride on Aug 16, 2018, with his son Wesley (riding on a different bike).  Wes was involved in a terrible head on collision with a Jeep that nearly cost him his life.  He was taken to the Valley Medical hospital for a 4 hour surgery with a shattered femur, broken fibula and 3 torn quadriceps mussels.  He will be having another surgery in 6 to 8 weeks to do a bone graph to rebuild his femur.  He will have his left leg immobilized for at least 6 months and will not be able to bend or put any pressure on his leg. God provides us with what we need and certainly has provided Wes with the blessing of life.   We are asking the Community to come together to help Wes with God’s miracle.

Wes owns Rent-A-Husband and has been the driving force of it's creation providing contracting services from Honey Do Lists to Complete Remodels for the Santa Cruz County area.  Due to this unfortunate event, he will not be able to provide hands on services for the foreseeable future, which has been his only source for income except for the time he spends as President of his non-profit Children’s Outreach, and President / Executive Director for Santa Cruz County Lacrosse.

For the past 22 years - Wes did what others said was not possible with Children's Outreach providing 3-6 year-olds soccer coaching since Wesley was 2 years old.

Wes started Santa Cruz County Lacrosse 13 years ago, bringing his Colorado high school game to the county starting with his boy with 7 year olds all the way through high school.  If you play, watch or have just seen Lacrosse in Santa Cruz it is because of Wes.

He has always been there to help everyone he can - now is our time to help him out.

Wes is a member of GateWay Bible Church and has 2 Boys: Wesley, 24, second year as a firefighter for Cal Fire, and Nicholas, 17, Senior in High School.

For the past year, Wes has been working on the foundational framework for a nationwide franchise of Rent-A-Husband.

If you have been touched by Wes or his story the most you can do is pray.  We are asking for assistance with the much needed funds for major medical expenses, living expenses and building his franchise to provide a sustained future income.

I’m Paul W. Koenig, Wes Koenig’s younger brother. We both moved from Colorado to Santa Cruz. in the 90’s.
