Amy and her family have been so thankful and humbled by the kindness of so many as she bravely faces her battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). As a mom of two young girls, Amy continues to approach this challenge with a strength and postive attitude that is remarkable and awe inspiring.
ALS is a progressive motor neuron disease that destroys the nerve cells that control muscle movement. As my sweet friend is soon approaching her 40th birthday, I thought this would be a great way to get her something that she really needs that can help to keep her more connected to all of us. Tobii Eyemobile is a technology that allows people who struggle or are unable to type or talk to use their eyes to move a cursor across a screen similar to a virtual keyboard.
