Voice of Aiko : We All Deserve Equality!

Thank you for visiting our GoFundMe page! We at Voice of Aiko believe in the power art has to help, heal, progress and change lives. Together with leading charities, our campaigns create unique art to raise awareness on important issues, as well as hands on help with artistic workshops. Your deeply valued donations will allow our work to continue. Thank you for supporting Voice of Aiko and joining us on our mission to heal with the power of art. Welcome to the Voice of Aiko army!

Voice of Aiko is a creative collective of top musicians, filmmakers and artists joining forces to campaign for change - an artistic army on a mission!

Born through the shared vision in the ability of art and creativity to offer health, happiness, impact and growth, Voice of Aiko focuses on different key issues with each project. Each project theme is chosen by the collective for its topical, pressing nature and our shared belief that it needs to be talked about more. Working with leading charities our aim is to make some noise and create real societal change, opening minds and hearts with the power of beautiful art.

Voice of Aiko’s first project ‘Prescription Dream’ sees founder Calista Kazuko collaborate with fellow musicians Samim, Miguel Toro and Jack Brown and filmmaker Enya Belak Gupta to draw the spotlight on an ongoing prescription drug epidemic.

In partnership with charities REST, MIND & APRIL, Aiko’s ‘Prescription Dream’ project is campaigning to raise awareness and open dialogue on this important issue. The campaign includes a series of musical workshops with Let’s All Create using art to help heal those who have been affected.

The ‘Prescription Dream’ project also includes a weekly online vlog series entitled ‘Stories’, sharing people's personal experiences with prescription drugs and highlighting the potential dangers of specific medications.

We are extremely grateful for the outstanding support from artists, charities, advocates and the press for this debut campaign and we are delighted to announce the next Voice of Aiko project.

2019 sees the launch of W.A.D.E. - We All Deserve Equality!

Working with a breath-taking line-up of artists, Voice of Aiko return louder and more resolute than ever.

W.A.D.E. is inspired by Sue Clayton’s extraordinary film and live campaign ‘Calais Children: A Case to Answer’. This compelling 62-minute film follows the scandal of what happened to the almost 2000 lone children who were in the Calais Jungle as it burned down in 2016 – most of whom had a legal case to be in the UK.

Sue’s film ‘Calais Children’ recently served as evidence in the High Court for a Judicial Review case against the Home Office.

In collaboration with leading charities, W.A.D.E. includes the creation and release of new awe-inspiring, commissioned art and hands on help with artistic workshops.

These workshops have already started with Voice of Aiko visiting various places in the UK, creating uplifting art with refugee children, mothers and babies and families.
