- TRYING TO BEAT CANCER -

My hubby of 18 years, and best friend of 21 years, was diagnosed with cancer in January 2017.  Thus, our lives are now on a road less traveled.  He has, and continues to bravely endure chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries, and the many side effects associated therewithin.  Despite his illness, Will remains optimistic, jovial, at peace, and continues to enjoy telling jokes and making others laugh as "laughter is good for the soul".  His spiritual energy gives our entire family strength and inner healing during such challenging and demanding times.  We shared many tears because we could not understand "how" or "why".  Throughout it all, we have never, and will never question God - for we have accepted this as our season of purpose.  It has been a struggle, a challenge, and a heartache; nonetheless, we are forever blessed.  Following Will's initial surgery, he was able to resume work for a brief period, however, the side effects from the combined chemotherapy medications were [ and remain ] too potent to allow him to continue to work - at least for several months ahead.  We humbly desire the support of our family and friends, near and far, to extend love and upliftment to us by any means.  We applaud you in advance for your prayers, kind gestures, and showers of blessings, publicly and privately.
