Lockdown 2.0 - 600km in 6 weeks for Pieta House!

Initially, the Malin to Mizen 600km challenge, was an idea we had to better ourselves. To keep fit and healthy over this upcoming 6 week lockdown. We have since decided to utilise this challenge in a way that will also benefits others, by fundraising for the amazing charity that is Pieta House. A charity who’s mission is to support people and communities in crisis by providing freely accessible, professional services to all. Lighting the darkest hours of many people’s lives, with hope and support. This mission is relevant at all times, but now in particular the work of Pieta is felt strongly throughout the country as the nation battles hard through this ongoing crisis.




Starting today the 21st of October, for the 6 week’s of the second Lockdown, we will be accumulating 600km between us, all within our 5km radius of home. Predominantly on foot, running or walking, but also through cycling and swimming where possible.




We are challenging ourselves to help others and we hope you can support the cause along the way. All donations, support and consideration is welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Where your money will go: 




€15 will keep the lights on in one their fifteen Centres across Ireland.




€20 helps our therapists answer two more calls to our helpline.




€45 is a crisis counselling session between scheduled sessions.




€90 is the first session of a dedicated therapy session.




€251 ensures we can deliver the first Resilience Academy programme to a class of secondary school students.




€1000 provides an entire programme of therapy for one person with suicidal ideation or engaging in self-harm.
