Looking to give back before the year ends? We don’t need to wait for the new year to make a positive change in our lives or in the lives of others. While most of you will be spending the holidays in the comfort of your homes surrounded by loved ones, there will be children and teenagers spending their days and nights at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
The funds raised will go toward purchasing gifts for children and teenagers battling cancer who will be spending their holidays at the hospital. Staff will make personalized suggestions for each patient. Any remaining money will go toward purchasing games and arts and crafts material for their playroom.
I hold this cause close to my heart after having lost my absolutely perfect little cousin, Vincenzo, this past April after a two-year battle with cancer (neuroblastoma). It is in his loving memory that I want to give back to other children in need of a smile during these holidays.
