When Daphne hosted her first vodka-themed birthday soiree in 2011, she had no idea that her spirited house party would become an annual tradition attracting hundreds of guests. It was a familiar concept with a little remix: "Bring Your Own Bottle...and Bring Me One, Too." Daphne's request was simple: for guests to gift her with a bottle of her beverage of choice, grab a red solo cup and celebrate another year with her. Over the years, she has received HUNDREDS of bottles of vodka, with more creative flavors and more exclusive brands coming each year.
But beyond that, the Vodka Party has become a community staple in Seattle; the type of rare event where people of any age, walk of life, identity and experience come together in a spirit of love and light between 6pm and 11:59pm each summer. People have met their spouses at the Vodka Party, have reunited with elementary school friends, and have mingled among rivals with not a single sign of drama. For her 50th birthday, Daphne stepped this tradition up several notches with the first Vodka BLOCK Party. After vowing for that party to be the grande finale, the community demanded more and offered to help pay for it. The second block party was HUGE and amazing! So she vowed that it would definitely be the last, but...LOL! The love and desire for this party is truly overwhelming, so she's giving y'all what you asked for...one more year!
Ask anyone who has attended and they will tell you that Daphne's annual Vodka Party is NOT to be missed. It is absolutely euphoric. You have to FEEL this party!
The Vodka Party is in popular demand every single year. But trust us, pulling off an event of this magnitude is no small fete. We're asking for your help to keep the party going in 2018. All funds raised will go directly towards the cost of this event, for purposes including:
- Our delicious Southern-style menu
- Our world reknowned DJ
- The incredible live band and vocalists
- Rentals and decor for the ambience you all love
- The support of our hardworking staff
- Security to ensure this party is always 100% safe
- Our photographers, videographer and vendors who document the magic
