Vision Nepal

Tax deductible

Hi my name is Kayla and I want to thank you for your interest in giving to this Campaign. I am both a little scared and excited to have to raise so much for such a great cause.  I have never raised more than $300 for anything and that was for a school Walk-A-Thon. I have also never flown more than 5 hours before and the trek to Nepal will take close to 30 hours so this is a big step for me.

First off and most importantly 100% of the proceeds of what I raise through this campaign will be given to several Charities in Nepal serving the children, the poor and less fortunate (Listed Below). I along with my dad will be taking these gifts personally to Nepal from April 5-16, 2018 and deliver them on your behalf to these organizations. None of the proceeds will be used for my travel there and back as my family is helping with that. Nepal is a country my dad and I have talked about serving since I first head about the big earthquake there in 2015. I will use my passion to play soccer and teach kids in poorer areas how to play to give them some joy and also share my personal story to give them hope. We will also take some indestructible soccer balls to give away that are great in the rocky terrains of Nepal. So I want to thank you personally for standing with me to support some great people.

If you are able to donate any amount I will also send you a special recap of my trip with pictures and details of everything I experience there and the ways your funds will be used to impact lives. Lastly because of a special gift, every dollar you give will be matched up to $5000 so whatever you are able to give will be doubled. That's pretty cool!

Three Primary Organizations that will receive support:

1. Iris Nepal ( http://www.irisglobal.org/nepal/about )
Iris Children's Home Nepal’s vision is to bring healing and hope  to Nepal’s orphans, homeless, lost, and poor by being the loving hands and feet of God. Iris Nepal do this through their children’s home, Banquet House (a church fellowship and weekly feeding programs) and a government registered private school that uses Kingdom principles to administer the best possible education for the students.

2.  Swallows Nest Children's Home  ( www.swallowsnestministries.org )
Swallow’s Nest exists to provide a safe home and education for orphans and children from broken families so that they can know they are loved, they have a purpose and that there is a God who loves them.

3. Maya Himalaya
( www.mayahimalaya.wordpress.com
Maya Himalaya exists to bring love to the red light areas of Nepal. They believe poverty is one of the main problems that fuels human trafficking in the world today. To combat this problem, they employ women who are marginalized and those escaping exploitative situations. Often they are able to offer these young women a fresh start in life, through rehabilitation and new employment. Maya Himalaya does this through their training center where these young women are given the opportunity to be trained and then employed in a skill such as knitting or sewing.

Please Note: Your donations will go through my dad's non-profit Compassion Bridges and they are fully tax-deductible.
