Vet Loses Home ToFireDuringHolidays

Everyone believes their parents are heaven sent. My dad's the sweetest guy you could ever come across. A small town man who served decades in the military. My mom's the funniest, sweetest, warm hearted woman ever. They're good, honest, genuine people. My parents retired out of the Air Force to a pretty little town in Navarre, FL. They also help raise their grandchildren, all their pets and their gentlemen's farm. Yesterday during the afternoon Mom left to grab the grandkids from school. It was barely even 30 minutes before she and the kids came home to the house in flames. Unfortunately, the fire got ahold of quite a bit of the house. What wasn't in flames is either covered in soot or totally melted. My family lost their pets that they adored so much; they were sadly trapped inside and it was too late for the firefighters to resuscitate them. The foundation of the house is completely falling apart. It has been declared unlivable for at least 6 months. Red Cross has only provided them enough for a week's stay at a hotel. You can imagine what the costs are. My parents don't believe in asking for handouts but they don't understand how giving people really are. It's not about asking for help or handouts, it's about people having compassion for one another. ❤ I don't have the means to help the way my heart wishes I could so I'm reaching out to all of you. I know it's the holidays and this is the worst time to ask for help because everyone has their own stuff going on. I'm hoping someone, ANYONE, might be able to assist in any possible way. I'm trying to raise enough to cover their insurance deductible at the least. Any dollar helps if you are in any position to support them in this tragic incident, even sending positive vibes and prayers. We would be so, so grateful.
